This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with princess motif on 'michinaga-dori'(placed curve or polygonal line as the pattern bonded with some different colors and designs) pattern, which are woven with elegant pale tone colors.
A poem, dandelion and horsetail are also woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch.
For the maegara(front patterned part) , there are two patterns, and horsetail design will be showed if you tie it as Kansai style(Kansai style is when you hold a Maegara on your tummy and Tare end comes on the right side of the body.(Rotate obi clockwise).
It has discoloration along the folding lines, but you will be able to avoid such parts for wearing.
There are couple of stains near the maegara part, but they will not be seen if you tie it as Kansai style.
