This marvelous vintage Maru obi
has kiku(chrysanthemum) and shippou-tsunagi(interlocking circles) on fan pattern, which are gorgeously woven.
It has not only gorgeousness but sophisticated atmosphere.
Along the tare end, there are three golden lines and a gunpai-mark(referee's fan) , which are distinct features of textile woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one of the most famous obi weavers in Kyoto.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfy touch.
There are ink of stamp like flaws(A,B) can be seen on tare end including stains(C), but it is still tie-able with other side.
There are some other flaws such as stains and discoloration caused by patinas.

This item must have been well tended.
Despite of tis old age, it does not have sense of use and is in tie-able condition.
