This is a summer ro Komon
kimono with wave pattern, which is dyed with shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Four seasons flowers such as botan (peony) and kikyo (bellflower) are dyed with silver foils, and they are shining elegantly.
Textile is transparent ro silk, and it is soft and smooth.
Lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel), and this item is hand-sewn.
Besides relatively prominent wear, it has patina on the white patterned parts overall. (A,B)
Some patinas seem to be prominent around the bottom of the left front panel. (C)
There are discolorations on its base partly, such as the left front panel and around the center back.
Small stains are seen partly.
Please see more photos and a figure for flaws including rusting stains of the hook on the lining.
This item still can be worn if those small flaws do not bother you.
We would like you to enjoy this elegant design.
