This vintage Tsume tsuzure Fukuro obi
has large housouge (imaginary flower in China) design, which is woven on vivid pink color base.
Textile is relatively thick silk and it's soft.
Its hem is trimmed with fringe-like decoration.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of rather thick and textured touch of Tsume tsuzure
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), 'Maegara' (front patterned part) will show.
It has relatively prominent discolorations caused by patina on the patterned parts.
There is a quite slight blackish stain (A) on 'otaiko' (square bow part), but it is not so prominent blended in the base color.
Please see more photos and a figure for other flaws such as prominent folding lines.
We would like you to enjoy this colorful and impressive design for your kimono fashion.
