This is a incredible intriguing vintage Maru obi
with unique plant and jug design, which are dyed with distinctive atmosphere.
Flying butterflies are also designed which seems like a part of fairy tale.
Some of the patterns are given fine embroidery which adds to its gorgeous atmosphere.
It's re-tailored from Hikinuki knot style.
It can be tied with wrong side as well, but otaiko(square bow) design will be a quit simple.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has prominent stains on the otaiko(square bow), but it might not be outstanding when it's tied(3rd photo).
Although not indicated, it's discolored overall.
It has uneven lines of weaving at places(A).
There are some other flaws such as stains and smudges including folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It has a little mothball smell.
It's still tie-able enough with very good condition if you are familiar with secondhand items.
