This graceful vintage Irotomesode
has flying cranes pattern, which is dyed.
This piece has colorful ryozuma(mirror image) pattern, which is colorfully dyed. Ryozuma is the typical design of kimono from pre WWII.
Impressive Sagara embroidery is added on crane's head, even the one on hakkake.
Bottom is lightly padded, and it is worn with the bottom trailing along the floor.
Textile is kinsha(fine crepe silk), and it has soft touch.
White areas of the pattern has patinas. (E)
Background color on left shoulder are irregular(D), and discoloration between left and right panels are prominent. (H)
It has some other flaws, such as holes, as shown on photos.

Because of the flaws mentioned, it is no longer suitable for formal usage, however, it still is a very charming piece for its classical design!!
