This is a Nagoya obi
with adorable daimyo procession with tanzaku (strip of paper) motif, which is dyed on vibrant vermilion base.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of sioze silk.
Small stains (A) are seen on one side of 'maegara' (front patterned part), but if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), those stains will be hidden inside.
Frays on tare part are described on the figure, but actually, there are no frays there.
Discolorations on the patterned parts are not so prominent.
Please see more photos and a figure for other flaws.
This item still can be tied.
We would like you to enjoy this elegant design for your kimono fashion.
