This sioze Nagoya obi
has abstract peacock design, which is dyed on sedate color base.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of sioze silk.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied, so please start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), then 'Maegara' (front patterned part) will show.
Prominent discolorations are seen on 'otaiko' (square bow part) and 'maegara' (front patterned part).
Discolorations are also seen on tare hem, and they are most prominent discolorations. (they are not shown on the figure, but refer the 1st and 2nd photos of whole angle)
Please see more photos and a figure for other flaws such as frays on tare corners.
It must be wonderful for handicraft material.
We would like you to enjoy this modern and distinctive design.
