This is a appealing vintage summer Houmongi
kimono with waterside scenery with 'kikyo'(Japanese bellflower), 'nadeshiko'(dianthus), and cloud pattern, which are delicately dyed.
With its dignified yet delicate dyed technique give it gracefulness.
Some of the patterns are given fine embroidery work and gold dyestuff, which gently shine and adds to its gorgeous atmosphere.
Textile is summer sheer Ro silk, and it has soft and smooth touch.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of the kimonos from pre WWII.
Smudges can be seen prominently on the top shoulders(A).
It also has slight discoloration(E) partly and those are noticeable.
Large but slight stains(D) on the lower chest area might not be outstanding when it's worn but not 100% sure.
Pin holes can be seen on the center back(about 78cm=30in from the hem).

There are other flaws which make you feel the passed years due to its old age.
However, it's still graceful piece to enjoy its elegant design if you are a real vintage fan!
