This pale pink Houmongi
kimono has Tsujigahana
(one of the Japanese fabric dyeing technique, which is called phantasmal dyeing) design.
Several parts are dyed with gold foils, and they shine gracefully. The 'shikishi'(square paper) motifs which were formed by dyed kanoko dots add extra elegance to it.
Textile is soft and smooth silk.
The lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel).
It has a tag of Seibu, one of the most popular department stores in Japan, on the right front panel.
As you see on the sheet, there are some minor flaws.
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet, there is faint signs of wear on the collar.
As a whole, it is in very good condition.
