This is a graceful vintage Irotomesode
kimono with treasure item and flower vase pattern, which are dyed.
Its tranquil tone of colors and elegant 'ichimatsu' (checkboard) gradation on the bottom give it zestful atmosphere.
You can feel influence from Art Deco in this piece.
Some parts of design on left and right front are embroidered richly.
Textile is 'kinsha'(very fine crepe) silk, and it has soft and fine textured touch.
There are five dyed kamons.
The lapel is hiro-eri(wide lapel).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Due to its age, base color is discolored.
Stains (discolorations) are seen around kamon (C,B).
There are some other flaws such as patinas on shoulders.
Please check photos and a figure for details.
Also there are stains on right lapel though not indicated on the figure.
Please enjoy this graceful vintage design!
