This is a men's Miyako Jofu, asa (ramie) kimono with small Kasuri
pattern, which is elaborately woven on a navy base.
This piece is roughly woven with hand plied yarns.
Textile is asa (ramie), and it has crisp and glossy touch.
There are slight wear and some snags on outside (They are nods of yarns.).
It has slight stains near the bottom on the left front (B).
Although it has sense of used, it does not have aged feeling very much and is relatively in very good condition.
It will be still enjoyable for sure!
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
'Ama' = Linen
*Approx background color - dark navy near black
