This is a nagoya obi with flower circle design, which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique.
Its vibrant design has glamorous atmosphere.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied, but if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), 'Maegara' (front patterned part) will show.
Folding lines remain, snags are seen overall as shown on the figure.
However, they don't bother you to tie. (refer the 1st flaws photo)
Stains above 'otaiko' (square bow part) patterned part and tare part are quite small, and they seem to be hidden when tie this. (refer the 2rd flaws photo)
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
This item still can be tied at formal occasions if those small flaws do not bother you.
