This is a tasteful Nagoya obi
with a monotone 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) design, which is dyed with ink-painting-style technique.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is a name of the dyer on tare part.
It has discolorations and they are rather prominent, because of its pale base color.
Maegara( front patterned part) has small, but rather disturbing patinas.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), relatively in very good side will be outside.
There are other couple of flaws.
Please check detail photos.
It has a worn-out feeling overall, but please enjoy its stylish fashion on vintage kimonos!
