This is a sedate color Irotomesode
kimono with traditional motifs such as tanzaku (strip of paper) and tachibana (Japanese green citrus), which are dyed.
Kinkoma embroidery work is added on the left front panel and emphasizing the details of the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and it's soft.
Lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel).
It has a dyed kamon (family emblems) on the nape.
It has relatively prominent stains and peeling spots of foils on the left front panel. (B,D)
Please see more photos and a figure for other flaws such as quite slight patinas.
There are also peeling spots of foils near the embroidery work on the left front panel, and they are relatively prominent. (they are not shown on the figure, so sorry.)
It depends on the person whether it is wearable or not at formal occasions.
However, we would like you to enjoy this elegant traditional design for your kimono fashion.
