This is a graceful tsume-tsuzure nagoya obi.
It is sewn as matsuba-shitate, and belt part is folded tightly.
It has 'kaede'(maple leaf) and pheasant on the fan motif, which is woven.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable touch of Tsume tsuzure
It has some flaws. None of them bothers to wear.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
It is such an elegant piece.
