This is an elegant Nagoya obi
with white flower pattern, which is dyed with sobyou(rough sketch) technique.
Textile is a kind of silk fabric called 'hige-tsumugi' - weft yarns come out like 'hige'(beard).
It's soft and has grainy touch.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature.
Besides prominent three stains on 'otaiko'(square bow), it has some other flaws such as stains and patinas.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Unfortunately, it's no longer tie-able.
Please enjoy this elegant design and wonderful fabric for your handicraft material.
