This is a classical Nagoya obi
with kiku (chrysanthemum) and hagi (bush clover) in fan motifs, which are embroidered.
Several parts are embroidered with kinkoma embroidery work, and dyed with shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Cracked ice pattern is woven with silver foil threads on its background, and they are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has a quite slight stain and paste-like spotted stains around the white patterned parts of 'otaiko' (square bow part).
The same kind of stains can be seen also on 'maegara' (front patterned part), and they seem to be because of embroidery work.
Please see more photos and a figure for other flaws such as patinas overall.
This item can be tied if those small flaws do not bother you, we would like you to enjoy this classical atmosphere for your kimono fashion.
