This is a vintage summer kimono made of asa, ramie. It is elaborately hand plied and hand woven. (It seems to be Echigo Jofu.)
It has a dyed design of unique and cute swans!
We see cranes many times in kimono but swans are quite rare.
Textile has rather crisp touch.
The lapel is hiro-eri(wide lapel) and it is hitoe(not lined).
It has several flaws such as patinas on patterned parts (C), but it still can be worn on vintage obis!
Please check detail photos.
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
'Ama' = Linen
