This Tsumugi Nagoya obi
has flower motifs, which are dyed.
It has matsu (pine tree) design on the rim of the motifs.
Textile is exquisite silk and has nubby touch.
It has prominent folding lines.
Photo B, it seems to be folded inside and sewn to adjust the size.
Slight stains can be seen on one side of 'maegara' (front patterned part).
There are small holes in hem part.
However, they are not moth-eaten flaws, it seems to be made them on purpose. (Small holes also can be seen on one side of hem part, in maegara. )
Please see more photos for other flaws such as discolorations.
We would like you to enjoy this piece for the practice of kimono dressing.
