This vintage Nagoya obi
has 'chayatsuji' (water garden scenery) and chicken motifs, which are embroidered.
Textile is glossy shusu silk and has soft and smooth touch.
The pattern is set upside down, and it's supposed to be tied in 'hikinuki' style.
The wrong side of tare part has frays in the hems and corners.
Embroidery part has frays of gold threads and discoloration and patinas in the white part.
However, it is in very good condition in spite of its old age!
There are other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
It can still be tied on vintage kimonos!
