This is a vintage sakiroi narrow obi with colorful check pattern, which is woven.
Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving. The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
Materials are silk, jinken(rayon) and others.
It has soft but a little coarse touch.
Its length is rather short in 94.5in (240cm).
It has tears and a snag (A).
Also, threads are coming out from rag strips in places (B).
