This is a vintage summer asa chijimi kimono with dainty house, 'matsu'(pine tree), bamboo grass, 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and iris pattern, which is dyed.
It is woven with strongly twisted ramie yarns, so it has special kind of crisp and textured touch of asa, which is very comfortable in humid Japanese summer.
This is hitoe (not lined) and the lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
It has quite prominent discolorations such as on sleeve seam and shoulder parts. Therefore, it seems to be difficult to wear.
Please check detail photos.
It must be an amazing handicraft material!
