This is an enchanting vintage chuya obi with dainty lily pattern, which is dyed.
Textile is plain silk and has soft and smooth touch.
The pattern is set upside down, and it's supposed to be tied in 'hikinuki' style.
The wrong side is black shusu.
The stitches in ginkokma embroidery work parts are coming loose .
Also, the stitches in hem of otaiko are coming loose. (about8cm(3.1in)
It has other flaws such as stains and please check detail photos.
It has flaws like this, because of its old age, but it must be an appealing piece to enjoy its vintage taste!
For the wearing, you had better remove the embroidery threads, which are coming off.
