This refined fukuro obi
has crane flock pattern woven against its complex golden background.
This seems to be designed from a work by Toshio Nishiuchi whose name is woven inside the tare end.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
It has a folding line left when tied.
The blank area has a couple of stains.
However, it's still in very good condition overall.
This will look so graceful on formal kimonos such as kurotomesode, houmongi and iromuji.
