This is a graceful kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women.
In its dyed pattern, blooming sakura (cherry) branches reach out over a basket palanquin.
'Tanzaku'(strip of paper) hang down on to the sakura branches.
A few of the blossoms are neatly embroidered.
It hakkake (lower part of lining) also has blown sakura blossoms.
This piece might have been used onstage.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.

Patinas and stains are noticeable on the white places of the pattern (D).
Photo J shows holes and tears on the fabric for pulling down collar.
It also has other flaws including whitish stains G.

The discoloration on the lining is so severe it's no longer wearable.
