This is a graceful kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women.
Ornate royal carts and
takara (treasure) items are dyed.
Partial 'kikko' (tortoise shell) patterns and 'tabane-noshi' (bundles of paper strips) increase its auspicious atmosphere.
Due to the above blank space, its design of various motifs doesn't look gaudy nor messy.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
Silk hiyoku (additional lining) is attached.
As the figures show, it has faint wear on the collar.
The sleeve rims are mildly smudged.
Also, there are some stains on this piece.
However, it's still in very good condition overall and suitable for ceremonial scenes.
