This is a vintage maru obi with elegant kiku (chrysanthemum) and pine pattern finely woven.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.

It doesn't have a particularly outstanding flaw.
The base brown seems to have discoloration, but it might be caused by the color difference of the threads.
Thin line cause by a strained warp runs from the tare end about 32.7in (83cm).
It also has slight musty smell.

Overall, it's still in very good condition.
