This vintage deep blue kimono has elegant shell and flower-circle pattern dyed.
Pleasant flowers including kiku (chrysanthemums) and ume (plum blossoms) make up the circles.
Textile is kinsha (fine crepe) silk, and it has very soft touch.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
Some flaws including smudges, stains and patinas are noticeable on white places of the pattern (E, K, L).
The left front has a large stain spread from chest to waist, though it's not so outstanding on the deep background color (F).
There are many pin holes on the back about 27.6in (70cm) from the bottom hem.
It also has some other flaws including loosened stitches.
