This is a wonderful vintage hitoe (not lined) kimono.
Soothing waterside scenery with colorful cloud shapes is dyed on its soft blue background.
The drooping weeping willows, reeds, 'jakago' (gabions) and boats all create tranquil atmosphere.
Textile is soft rinzu silk with damask effect of another waterside scenery.
It is hitoe (not lined) and has bachi-eri(folded lapel).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
As the figure shows, prominent discoloration can be seen on this item.
The left sleeve has big stain E.
There are patinas on the white places of the pattern.
It also has some other flaws including a loosened seam.
