This is an elegant
komon kimono with bucolic Japanese rural scenery dyed throughout.
The description on the remnant fabric reads "Discovery of Japan" and explains this piece was made with the hope of maintaining Japanese natural climates, cultures and traditions.
Textile is soft chirimen (crepe) silk and has textured touch.
It seems unworn with the basting stitches remained.
However, there is a tiny stain on the lining.
As a whole, it's nearly in excellent condition.
