This is an unlined (hitoe) summer asa juban (undergarment).
Refreshing stream pattern is transparently woven.
Textile is asa (ramie) and has somewhat crisp touch.
Its collar is not covered with haneri (collar covering).

The inside of the left front has brownish stains just along the side edge (D).
Stain C on the back is largely spread but relatively faint.

The flaws might be visible through light colored kimonos.
However, rich colored kimonos could cover up them.
Overall, it's still in very good condition.

*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
