This is a noren (a kind of curtain) for sento (communal bathhouse) with various motifs - Mt. Fuji, washtrough, and soap pattern, which is dyed.
Character in the middle reads 'yu' in hiragana, which means hot-water or sento (communal bathhouse).
Textile is cotton and has soft and smoth touch.
It was used for real and has some flaws such as stains and smudges.
