This is a fabulous contempoary uchikake - in the gold background, charming 'karako'(Chinese child figure) and flowers motifs are woven colorfully.
Its design is very unique and impressive.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch.

It has rather prominent discoloration and smudges in the bottom hem and sleeve holes.
The discoloration in the shoulder (C) is also rather prominent.

It has tears in the shoulder folding line. There are some prominent stains(or patinas) and hems have frays.
We don't check in the figure, but the gold background has some discoloration, and it looks slightly uneven.
It has some other flaws as photos and figure show.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but it must be an excellent handicraft material or interior decor!
