This is an unlined vintage summer kimono.
Charming ivy vine pattern is dyed against its deep and dark purple background.
Textile is ro-chirimen, transparent silk woven with strongly twisted wefts, which has sheer horizontal stripes.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
Both the right and left chests have large stains beside the armholes.
The right one looks darker than the lighter left one (C).
Also, mild discoloration and patinas appeared on this item over the years.
However, the colors are still well retained for its old age.
