This is a vintage maru obi with genteel phoenix, 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and butterfly pattern, which is woven.
Textile has soft, but rather textured touch.

It has rather prominent frays in both ends.
There is a tear in a corner.(the last photo)
There are other flaws, but as a whole, it is looks beautiful.
However, textile seems to become weak, and it can not be tied.
