This
fukuro obi has gently shining 'tatewaku'(waving lines) pattern , which is woven with kushiori (comb weaving) technique in the background.
It has animal motifs in graceful 'shikishi'(square paper)pattern, which are woven.
Textile is transparent silk and it has soft touch.
There are snags in the 'maegara'(front patterned part) and in the tare (although, the photos and figure don't show).
It has other flaws such as folding lines, but as a whole, it is in very good condition and it can be tied at formal occasions!
