This is a kimono silk fabric cut into Furisode shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make furisode. Furisode is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
It is a graceful piece with one of the traditional pattern- 'tabane-noshi'(bundled paper strips) is dyed dynamically.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has some prominent flaws such as stains, patinas, and discoloration.

The wonderful textile could be useful for your handicraft material.
*You need a lining fabric to sew Furisode from this fabric.
And sewing Furisode is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
