This is a brilliant vintage juban.
Charming 'kikyo'(Japanese bellflower) motifs are boldly dyed.
The contrast of the aqua blue swirls and the pink background is lovely and eye-catching.
Textile is 'jiginu'(silk roughly woven in rural districts) like silk and has slub texture with thick yarns blended here and there (J).
The back panels must have been pulled sideways so the fabric became thin and about to tear along the back seam (H).
It also has some other flaws including Tear H.
