This is a vintage chuya obi with parakeet pattern, which is dyed with as hand-painted touch.
Its design with black and orange combination is very intriguing, and has retro atmosphere!
Embroidered work is added on 'otaiko'(square bow).
The pattern is upside down in a place so this piece can be tied in both of the ordinary otaiko (square bow) and 'hikinuki' styles.
Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.

It has frays and prominent discoloration on tare end.
Stains can be seen here and there.
Please refer the photos and sheet for other flaws and details.

It sure has a bit of feeling of used due to its old age, but it is still in very good condition to enjoy its vintage atmosphere.
