This is a tasteful vintage sakiori obi.
Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.
The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
Textile is has rugged touch.
The length of obi is very short, and it seems that it has been cut off short intentionally.
We are not sure if it even can be tied as an obi.
It looks old and has slight discoloration as shown.
