This is a vintage beige kyo-fukuro obi(shorter than usual fukuro obi) with gentle 'kiji'(Japanese pheasant) and nice peony patten, which is woven.
Textile has soft and comfortable touch.
Both ends are not sewn.
It is well well worn.
There are stain (A) in the otaiko and stain (B) in the 'maegara'(front patterned part) and large stain (it is similar to the stain (A) )in the blank part.
It is well tied and folding lines from blank part to maegara are prominent.
The background color has discolorations.
There are patinas in places of blank and wrong side, although the photos and figure don't show.
It has other flaws as photos show.
Please check detail photos.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but it must be wonderful handicraft material or interior decor!
