This is a lush vintage han-eri which is a lapel for kimono juban(undergarment).
This piece was embroidered finely with 'kinkoma'(embroidery work) technique.
Its 'botan' (peony) pattern is embroidered with thick twisted gold threads, which is giving three dimensional look.
Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
Lining is made of cotton, which has soft comfortable touch.
It has some flaws such as peeling and discoloration.
It seems well worn.
