This is a asa-chijimi kimono with elegant 'karabana'( imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven in the vibrant colored background. It is woven with strongly twisted ramie yarns, so it has special kind of crispy and textured touch of asa, which is very comfortable in humid Japanese summer.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel) and it's elaborately handsewn.
Small stains can be seen here and there as the sheet shown. Stain (A) on the left front is a rather large but not prominent due to its background color.
Though not indicated, it has slight frays on shoulders.
Please refer the photos and sheet for other flaws and details.
This piece is easy to wash and is in very good condition to enjoy its elegant design on a hot day!
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
