This is a graceful iromuji kimono dyed in sedate blue-green.
The golden characters read Ando Hiroshige, Tokaido 55 selection (though the famous ukiyoe series was Tokaido "53" stations).
As the golden words imply, various scenery pictures are woven in the textile.
Textile is silk with damask effect and has soft touch.
The basting stitches remain.
However, prominent discoloration is spread to the extent that this is no longer wearable.
Please make full use of this in your handicraft work.
