This is an enchanting vintage girl's haori with Paulownia and 'tatewaku'( waving lines ) pattern, which is dyed in the vibrant color of pink background. Its combination of the color of black 'kiri' (paulownia) provide modern atmosphere.
Sleeves and length of haori are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Shoulders are folded and sewn, and if you unpick the seams, sleeve-to-sleeve will be 4cm(1.6in) longer.
Textile is exquisite 'kinsha'(very fine crepe) silk and has soft smooth touch.
It has some flaws such as stains, dyestuff, and smudges but they are not disturbing to wear. Please refer the photos and sheet for other flaws and details.( (G) is a line shape fray and smudge.)
This piece does not have worn-out feel and it is in very good condition.
It must be an excellent piece to enjoy coordinating as long as on a vintage kimono!
