This is an elegant vintage maru obi with graceful phoenix, pine tree, 'kiri'(paulownia) and chrysanthemum motifs, which are woven elaborately.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
The pattern is set upside down, and it's supposed to be tied in a special way called 'hikinuki'.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some slight flaws, but with considering the age, it is in very good condition.
