This is a hitoe (not lined) asa chijimi kimono with elegant 'karabana'( imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven in pastel-colored pink background.
It is woven with strongly twisted ramie yarns, so it has special kind of crispy and textured touch of asa, which is very comfortable in humid Japanese summer.
Textile is asa (ramie) and has slightly crisp touch.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
As the photos shown, it has discoloration and patinas all over, especially on the sleeve and backside are rather prominent. It might be difficult to wear.
Please refer the photos and sheet for details.
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
'Ama' = Linen
