This is a vintage chuya obi from Pre WW2.
Dyed on its finely freckled background is a peaceful mountain scenery pattern.
In the pattern, charming deer are grazing around.
It might be
Wakakusa-Yama famous for having
Nara Park at its foot.
Textile is plain silk, and it's soft and smooth.
Its backside is black shusu silk.
Discoloration is mildly spread allover with age.
There is a small but dark stain near the tare end.
However, it's still in very good condition overall.
