This is a excellent Oshima tsumugi kimono with graceful hanabishi (flower diamonds), 'kikko'(tortoise shell), and 'kiku' (chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven with weft ikat technique (yokoso) in the sedate colored background.

Textile is tsumugi cotton and has soft touch, which is the feature of Oshima tsumugi textile.
The lapel is wide lapel.

Basting stitches remain and it may be unworn, or might be worn only a few times.
It does not have any flaws and is in excellent condition. This is a wonderful piece to wear at invited occasions.
